UNFPD is searching for a man who approached a woman Feb. 19 outside of Hicks Hall and asked her for sex.

According to the victim, he made repeated advances. After she turned him down, he grabbed and kissed her and left the scene.

According to the UNF crime alert, the man is described as a white male with brown hair. He is estimated at 5 foot 7 or 8, weighing 165-185 pounds.

The man was wearing a hat, sunglasses, dark shorts and a crew neck shirt.

Lieutenant Matthew Taylor of UNFPD said they will only be posting Clery warnings in the areas that would be affected.

The Clery Act requires schools to give timely warnings if there is a crime that could represent an imminent threat to the community.

The case is still under investigation.
