The Auxiliary Oversight Committee (AOC) approved two measures during its meeting Jan. 14, granting additional budget authority to the Student Union Administration and the OneJax Institute.
The Student Union asked for a $50,000 increase in their budget to enhance the Student Union facilities. The potential upgrades include a new digital media platform and new projectors in meeting rooms.
OneJax Institute did not reach their $100,000 revenue estimates and asked for an increase in their expense budget from $49,898 to $53,670. OneJax also asked to reduce their grants and fees down from $94,872 to $75,310.
Both measures were passed unanimously by the AOC. The next AOC meeting will be held on Feb. 11.
