With the fall semester just starting, many of the Osprey sports teams are starting up their seasons as well. The women’s soccer team (1-1) lost its home opener 1-0 against Florida Atlantic University. The Ospreys will continue their season on Aug. 28 at 5 p.m. against Presbyterian College.

On Aug. 28, Osprey men’s soccer faces off against Appalachian State at 8 p.m. in Hodges Stadium. Then on Aug.30, the Ospreys will face off against Georgia State at 5 p.m. Both games are a part of the Mike Gibbs Memorial Soccer Tournament hosted by UNF.

The UNF Cross Country Invitational will take place on Sept. 5 with a tentative start time of 8:00 a.m. at the UNF Golf Complex.

UNF volleyball will host the Courtyard Mayo Classic Volleyball Tournament at the UNF Arena. The Ospreys will face Bethune-Cookman and Campbell over the two day tournament. The matches will be played at noon and 7 p.m. on Sept 11, and 4 p.m. on Sept. 12.
