Beach Volleyball splits day to begin conference play

North Florida Beach Volleyball (10-3 overall, 1-1 A-Sun) split the day with No. 9 Stetson (14-2 overall, 4-1 A-Sun) on the road to start Atlantic Sun play on March 23.

In the first match, the Ospreys fell to the Hatters 4-1. The sole victory for UNF came from Courtney Miller and Katarina Raicevic, with a 21-19, 21-15 victory.

North Florida rebounded against Stetson in the second match, winning 3-2 and handing the Hatters their second loss of the season.  

The first win came from duo Carina Hoff and Brittany Pase, who won 21-18, 21-20. Then, with a 2-0 advantage over Stetson, duo Kimberly Ferguson and Lauren Ford sealed the victory with a 21-18, 21-18 win.

Next the Ospreys will face FGCU and Mercer in Estero, Florida with the first game on March 25 at 11 a.m.
