Stolen Parking Pass

UNFPD met with a student who had her parking pass stolen on Oct. 24.

The police report states the victim parked her vehicle in Lot 38 on Oct. 20. When she returned the following day, she discovered her parking pass was missing.

The victim advised police that she had left her windows halfway down, potentially allowing suspects to reach into the vehicle to remove the parking pass. The pass has a value of $240.

No canvas of the scene was done due to the location and time frame of the incident. Patrol efforts have been suspended.

Short Changed

A student reported his wallet as lost on Oct. 14. According to the police report, UNFPD arrived at building 8 and met with the complainant, who said he arrived on campus at around 11 a.m. on Oct. 13 to attend class. At around 4:30 p.m. he went to pay for a meal at the boathouse and discovered his wallet was missing, according to the report.

The complainant believes his wallet fell out of his pants pocket sometime during his time on campus Oct. 13. It is unclear if the case has been closed.

Another Missing Wallet

Another student reported her wallet missing on Oct. 14.

The police report states UNFPD met with the complainant at building T of the Osprey Cove. The student arrived on campus around 9 a.m. to attend class and get something to eat, and realized she had lost her wallet at an unknown location around 3 p.m.

The student told UNFPD she had cancelled her debit card once she realized her wallet was missing. The wallet also contained cash and the student’s credit card.

She was unsure of where the wallet and its contents could have been lost. It is unclear if the case has been closed.
