Final manned space shuttle blasts off Friday

The Spinnaker, in conjunction with Osprey TV, is covering every angle of NASA’s final shuttle launch from Florida’s own Kennedy Space Center. What does this mean for the space program going forward? Does the privatization of the space program mean more freedom in exploration or less concrete results in space? What effect does the end of the space shuttle era have on NASA funded university research? What are UNF professors working on in conjunction with NASA? What effect will the end of the space shuttle program have on local business?

The Spinnaker will answer these questions and more on Friday, after space shuttle Atlantis’ scheduled launch at 11:26 AM from the Kennedy Space Center. Come to unfspinnaker.com for all your final shuttle launch news.
