Emergency B&A Meeting
There was an emergency Budget and Allocations Committee Meeting called to exhaust the remaining travel request budget. The National Society of Collegiate Scholars received $226, the remaining money in the budget, to attend a leadership conference in Houston, TX. The request was approved in a 6-0 vote.

Changes made to schedule
In the upcoming Fall 2013 semester, Student Government senate meetings will happen every other Friday at 1 p.m.
Student Union receives funding for projects
The special request to fund various infrastructure and operational improvement projects that was put before last week’s Budget and Allocations meeting was introduced to the senate. The B&A Committee voted to take the money out of the Student Union Fund Balance instead of the Student Government Special Request budget.
The request for $70,582.14 to be taken out of the Student Union Fund Balance was approved in a 34-2 vote.
Judicial Branch Report
The Judicial Branch reported that Alex Goetz was reelected to a second term as chief justice and Ryan DeWitt would remain Associate Chief Justice until his summer graduation.
