Feb. 25 – Mar. 1

Feb. 25 – Battery/Possession (Building E) – UPD was dispatched to an area outside The Village regarding a loud disturbance, which turned out to be a dispute between a female student and her boyfriend.

While questioning her and the boyfriend, UPD found that the argument began in a dorm then moved outside, where the two began punching each other.

She was referred to Student Conduct and was issued a notice to appear for a glass pipe found in her dorm.

Feb. 27 – Information (Lot 11) – A male student approached UPD and asked if a friend he was driving could be escorted to her dorm because  they believed her ex-boyfriend was waiting in the lot.

The female student was intoxicated, and said she had just left a note at the boyfriend’s off-campus residence and took her belongings.

She failed a breathalyzer and was transported to River Point Hospital.

Feb. 27 – Criminal Mischief (Building Q) – UPD was dispatched to The Crossings after a UNF employee reported a set of table and chairs had been spray-painted. No spray cans were found in the area, and two witnesses said they could not identify the suspects.

Feb. 27 – Petty theft (Building W) – A student in Osprey Landing reported his belt missing after placing it on his shelf the previous day.

Feb. 27 – Possession (Building S) – UPD searched an unoccupied dorm in The Crossings after two Resident Assistants noticed a strong odor of marijuana coming from it. UPD found a glass pipe with residue on it and referred the two residents to Student Conduct.

Feb. 28 – Burglary (Lot 9) – An officer was dispatched in reference to an auto burglary. The victim stated she parked her car in the lot the previous day and came back to find her stereo, iPod, GPS, jacket and flat iron stolen. UPD did not observe any forced entry and processed the car.

March 1 – Battery (Building Q) – UPD was dispatched to The Crossings to find a UNF student had her car taken without permission by a friend after an argument. The suspect took the car and left it at Publix.
