A state of intense happiness and self-confidence will resonate in artwork showcased tomorrow, April 2 on the Green for Osprey Productions’ Euphoria: UNF Art Walk. The event takes place from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Osprey Productions’ UNF Art Walk is modeled after Jacksonville’s monthly arts market with crafts ranging from handmade jewelry and classical paintings to taxidermy and music. Both UNF students and local artists have been asked to participate.

Art major and event organizer Mirelle Smeen said her inspiration for the event is partly due to her desire to bring local talent to campus while showcasing UNF’s creative student population. At this point, about 40 different artists have registered for the event, which advertises free participation for anyone interested.

The event will include food from Chartwells, beer, wine and live music from Jacksonville-based musicians Civil Brute, Aurora and Summer Goodman.

The arts market’s theme raises the question: What is your transcendent happiness? Whatever the answer, there is a chance Euphoria might be selling it.
