A UNF college hires new dean

Dr. Diane Yendol-Hoppey has been named dean of the College of Education and Human Services according to UNF. She was appointed by the Board of Trustees to replace interim dean Dr. Marsh Lupi, and began her position July 1. The college’s dean search has lasted over two years.

Yendol-Hoppey previously worked as an associate dean and professor at the University of South Florida. Her background focuses on teacher education, professional development and improving teaching and learning in urban environments.

β€œI am thrilled to be joining a faculty that is innovative, cares about regional and international partnerships and is committed to using research-based practices to improve education and other human services in the region and beyond,” said Yendol-Hoppey in the press release.
