On Friday, the UNF women’s volleyball team defeated Kennesaw State 3-1 for the first Atlantic Sun Conference win of the season. The Lady Ospreys fought back from a couple of deficits to claim three out of the four sets during this home match.
Senior Cari Whitmire held the Ospreys’ defense for the evening with 30 digs, a season high for the team. Whitmire has consistently recorded at least 25 digs in four of the six conference matches this season.
Freshman Courtney Miller and senior Cameron McGuire led the Ospreys in kills for the evening with Miller recording 11 and McGuire racking up a season-high of 15.
