The Mayport Princess offers a daily getaway. The 65-foot, glass-bottom charter boat offers an experienced crew to take passengers fishing for $75. Bring lunch and beer.

Take your car on a ferryboat ride. The St. Johns River Ferry transports you and your vehicle from Mayport to Fort George Island for $5. Continue on to the isolated beaches of Little Talbot Island State Park.

If all else fails, take a day trip to Panama City Beach. There, you will find gratuitous binge drinking, juvenile mischief and anonymous fornicating. Get it out of your system if you haven’t already.
