UNF finds Mercer’s defense unbearable

After the game, Driscoll said that starting lineup changes may be in UNF’s future. Driscoll will likley be looking to improve UNF’s slumping offense. UNF is averaging 56 points in its last three games, nine points below its season average of 65.

Men’s Basketball Break Summary

UNF has started to develop balanced inside-outside scoring with the inside scoring of Wallace and the long range ability of Parker Smith, but freshman Beau Beech has started to become a viable third scoring option.

UNF men’s basketball breakdown

Playing strong competition can reveal a lot about a team, including strengths and weaknesses. UNF showed they can hang with the big boys of the NCAA, playing well in spurts against Memphis and FSU, but if UNF wants a shot at the A-Sun Title they will need to make a few key improvements.

K-State hands UNF men’s basketball its third straight loss

Offensive consistency beyond Beech and Wallace proved sparse for UNF, as the Ospreys shot 36 percent (20 -55) from the field, 25 percent (6 -24) from three point range, and 60 percent (9-15) from the charity stripe.

Second half slump dooms men’s basketball against Savannah State

Smith said the team felt good going into the second half, as UNF boasted a 31 to 22 lead. The non-conference meeting became a tale of two halves, however, as Savannah State outscored North Florida 32-16 in the final 20 minutes.
