The women’s tennis team closed out their fall season in style with the three-day UNF Invitational that featured Barry University, South Carolina State University and Jacksonville University.

UNF played well throughout the Invitational, winning 16 of its 21 matches over the weekend.
The team was victorious in 12 single matches and four of its double matches overall.

Senior Danielle Day had an impressive showing on the court, winning all three of her singles and two of three double matches with junior teammate Melanie Aquirre.

The Ospreys couldn’t have finished the weekend better, completing a 7-0 sweep of its opponents on day three of the invitational. They swung their way to a dominating performance of Barry University in doubles, outscoring the Bucs by a combined 16-1, and JU in singles, only allowing the Dolphins eight total points on the final day.
