July 28, July 30 – Tools 2 Quit 

Health Promotions will offer a free “Tools 2 Quit” class about quitting smoking from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on July 28 or July 30 in the Student Wellness Complex.

 

July 27 to July 30 – Gifts for graduating seniors

Seniors who are graduating this semester can pick up their UNF Alumni lapel pin and a mystery gift from the UNF Alumni Association between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. from July 27 to  July 30 at the Office of Alumni Engagement and Annual Giving in Alumni Hall Building 60.

 

Thursday, July 30 – MOCA book club

MOCA will host a book club discussion of Losing It All to Sprawl: How Progress Ate My Cracker Landscape by Bill Belleville, who will tell the story of his farmhouse and the destruction of place, followed by an hour-long interactive tour. The event will take place at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. on July 30 and is free to the public. Reservations are recommended.

 

Thursday, July 30 – Language Partners Speaking Club

The English Language Program’s (ELP) Language Partners and Activities begins at 3:30 p.m. in Building 14E, room 1722. The ELP invites students to chat and mingle with international students who are learning to speak English. Students can earn volunteer hours while practicing a language.

 

Friday, July 31 – Summer 2015 Commencement

The Summer 2015 Commencement will take place in the UNF Arena and is free with a ticket of admission. At 10 a.m., graduating seniors from the College of Computing, Engineering and Construction, and the College of Arts and Sciences will walk. At 2 p.m., seniors graduating from the College of Education and Human Services, Brooks College of Health, and Coggin College of Business will walk.

The Coggin College of Business Summer Hooding Ceremony and reception will commence between 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. in the Andrew A. Robinson, Jr. Building 14B. Guests do not need a ticket to attend.
