The Weekend Ahead: May 19 – 22

Summer B is still a few weeks away, but Ospreys can soak up Jacksonville’s nightlife until then.

 

Thursday, May 19 – Jaxsons Night Market

What: Enjoy live music from local bands, chow down on food from community food trucks and farmers and shop for original pieces of jewelry, fresh scents and more while supporting Jacksonville’s entrepreneurs.

When: 5:30 – 8:30 p.m.

Where: Hemming Park

Friday, May 20 – Foals Concert

What: Indie Rock band Foals is playing at the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall as part of its “What Went Down” tour. Jacksonville’s The Dog Apollo will be opening. Tickets are $27 on the day of the concert.

When: Doors open at 7 p.m.

Where: Ponte Vedra Concert Hall

Saturday, May 21 – Five Points 10th Annual Spring Festival

What: One of Jacksonville’s historic neighborhoods is celebrating its annual spring festival with live music from local bands, fresh art and new finds from locals, a silent auction for a bike, and (the best part) many giveaways.

When: 2:30 – 10 p.m.

Where: Between Park and Post Street in Jacksonville’s Five Points neighborhood (the region bordered by Stockton Street, I-10, I-95 and the St. Johns River in Riverside)

Saturday, May 21 – 30th Annual Dancing in the Streets

What: Neptune Beach’s annual Dancing in the Streets festival features 16 bands from different genres, great food from local businesses as well as franchises, different mediums of artwork and other vendors.

When: 11 a.m. – 9:30 p.m.

Where: Beaches Town Center in Neptune Beach
