The women’s team (3-2) suffered its second loss of the season at the hands of Xavier.

During previous games, there have been four players who average double digit scoring, but only two Ospreys were in double digit scoring this game.

Claire Ioannidis had 10 points while teammate Tesh Hanson had 13. Both ladies have had double digit scoring games every game on the season.

In a previous game against FAU at the UNF Arena, all five Osprey starters had double digit scoring.

Musketeers’ trio Imani Partlow, Kindell Fincher and Raeshaun Gaffney scored double digits with 15,12 and 19 points respectively.

Xavier was 51.7 percent from the field compared to North Florida’s 31.7.

The difference maker was points off the bench and three pointers. Xavier had 31 points off the bench to UNF’s mere 17.

The Ospreys were 4 of 20 from behind the line, ending the night at 19 percent. The Musketeers seem like it could not miss, shooting 61 percent from the arc.

But the Ospreys were able to keep extend its streak to 37 consecutive games with a three pointer.

Ultimately, the Ospreys could not keep up with Xavier’s scoring and lost the match 83-46. Xavier remains undefeated this season.
