Letter to the Editor: Let’s clean the lakes together

Dear Editor,
This letter is in response to Victoria Leininger’s request in the April 1 issue of the Spinnaker for UNF
to clean up the lakes on campus.

With the guidance of Dr. Tony Rossi (UNF Biology Department), the Biology Club is actively looking into adopting UNF’s lakes and instigating monthly clean-ups for the different lakes.

We hope to get this established quickly, and once we do, the Biology Club will host monthly lake clean-up events with the first being in May.

All UNF students, faculty and staff are welcome and encouraged to volunteer for these events.

Interested parties can contact the UNF Biology Club at [email protected] to be put on the club e-mail list and be reminded about upcoming events.
