Out of this world: Osprey Productions themes this year’s OZ FEST

It’s concert time again at UNF. The annual performance sponsored by Osprey Productions is here. In the past, OZ FEST has featured performances from Palm Trees and Powerlines, Desiigner and Juicy J. This year, Osprey Productions has secured performances by Bryce Vine, Whethan and Rae Sremmurd. You may recognize the headliner, Rae Sremmurd, by one of their most popular songs like “Powerglide,” “Black Beatles,” “Swang” and “Come Get Her.”

This year’s concert has been themed though, which sets it apart from the OZ FESTs of years passed. Osprey Productions has spent the last few weeks marketing an outer space theme on their social media platforms. Students are encouraged by Osprey Productions to show up in their best space gear. The best dressed “space explorer” will be awarded prizes, according to OP.

“Join us to blast off to planet O.Z.-72,” the event announcement said. “There will be plenty of concessions and fun activities provided to entertain guests during the departure.”

The first 500 guests will receive a commemorative ticket and a “space admission badge” upon entry.

The concert will take place at the Coxwell Amphitheater at 6 p.m. on Saturday, April 6. Doors open at 4:30 p.m. and admission for students is free with student ID. Any non-UNF students can still come, but their tickets will be $25.
