Do you think it’s fair to let Joe Paterno go because of the scandal surrounding a former defensive coordinator?
Will the lowly Jaguars provide the lowlier Colts with its first win of the season?
Landon Donovan will play in the MLS final instead of playing against France with the U.S. team. Your thoughts?
It would be in the best interest of the university to let Paterno go. It helps clear its name of any dirt. Besides, Paterno can’t coach much longer.
I think the Jags take care of business and beat a downright horrible Colts team.
And this is why the U.S. soccer team is never competitive…
I’d hate to see JoePa go out on this note. Jerry Sandusky, however, has made a disgusting mess of the entire situation. Hopefully Penn State finds a way for the coach to step down gracefully at the end of what has been a terrific season for the Nittany Lions.
I don’t understand how the Colts could possibly suck this much, but they really do. Jags win in Indy.
Landon just wants to win, and who can blame him for that? It’s not like the match against France means anything, anyway.
The he-said, she-said, nature of this scandal makes it a little difficult to formulate a solid opinion. Joe Paterno has had a great career for sure, and it’s understandable that he wouldn’t want to put a hitch in it with any scandal. This is an unfortunate way to say goodbye. In terms of fairness, the school has to cover their tail, and that’s also understandable. Overall, it sucks, but it’s understandable.
So sick of the cocky Colts. Even when they’re terrible, they’re cocky. Please, Mojo, Gabbert and yes, Del Rio, shut them up. Hard. I’m craving to see it happen.
Well, he’s forgoing France to kick butt — and ball — on the field with foxy David Beckham. I know a lot of girls who would jump at that chance if they had it.
Of course. If from what people are saying is true, then he knew about the scandal. He’s about 140 years old and has made his spot in the history of college football. His step down has been long overdue — too bad his career has to end like this.
Who knows? The jags offense has been struggling, but surprisingly their defense hasn’t been horrible. Texans killed them the other week, but they beat the Ravens. It’ll be interesting to see if the Colts can beat anybody this year.
I’m biased toward the MLS — go, Sounders! So I’d rather see him play in the MLS. Even if I was unbiased, I’d still be happy he’s playing in the final. Soccer is trying to grow in the U.S., and how would it look if one of the marquee players didn’t play in the U.S. league’s final?
