Victory Media recently named UNF one of the country’s most military friendly schools, making 2015 the seventh consecutive year the university earns a place on the Military Friendly Schools list.

Every year, Victory Media releases its Military Friendly Schools list based on information gathered from surveys of institutions across the United States. Survey questions revolve around the ideas of community support, employment opportunities and programs for the military community on campus.

According to a Nov. 5 university press release, UNF is home to more than 1,200 student veterans, which means approximately one in every 14 students is a veteran. Because of its military community, UNF has a Military and Veterans Resource Center and the Fighting Osprey Company, a program dedicated to providing military training to students while attending school.
