Our Mission

The mission of Spinnaker Media is to provide the university community with news, entertainment, and a forum for the exchange of ideas, while also providing a lab for media innovation for students. Through the production of various mass media, students gain practical experience in newsgathering and dissemination, management, audio and video production, advertising, and the industry’s business aspects.

Volunteering

Volunteering at Spinnaker Media is a great way to get involved on campus, build your resume, and network with other students. Students of all disciplines and majors are encouraged to volunteer with Spinnaker.

Internships

Are you looking for an internship for course credit toward your English or Communication degree? Spinnaker Media offers several pre-approved internships for undergraduate and graduate students.
