Spinnaker Media is the student-run multimedia center for the University of North Florida. Spinnaker Media supports the following outlets: UNF Spinnaker, an award-winning digital newspaper; WSKR 95.5FM Spinnaker Radio, a low-power FM radio station; and Spinnaker TV, which airs on YouTube.

Our Mission

The mission of Spinnaker Media is to provide the university community with news, entertainment, and a forum for the exchange of ideas, while also providing a lab for media innovation for students. Through the production of various mass media, students gain practical experience in newsgathering and dissemination, management, audio and video production, advertising, and the industry’s business aspects.
