Former UNF Osprey Beau Beech struggled in his second NBA Summer League game to find the quality from his debut.
In over fifteen minutes of playing time, Beech went just 1-8 from the field, missing six three-pointers in the Brooklyn Nets (2-0) 72-65 win over the Atlanta Hawks (1-1).
He picked up three rebounds, two steals, one assist and four personal fouls. Beech’s points came from a jump shot at the end of the first quarter.
The Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla., native posted 10 points and 5 rebounds Sunday in a stellar opening-game against the Cavaliers.
Beech and the Nets plays the Washington Wizards(1-1) tonight at 4:00 p.m ET on ESPN3. This is the final game before the 23 summer league teams in Las Vegas enter a knockout tournament.
