Mother’s Day is here once again! Gifts are a great way to show your mom you care, but they can get a little pricey.

According to the National Retail Federation, the expected spending by the average consumer on Mother’s Day 2017 will be $186.39, while total spending is expected to reach $23.6 billion. This is the highest amount of spending in the past 14 years.

To help stay in budget do-it-yourself gifts are a good option for people who want to save money and show their mom they care. Flowers are an easy out on Mother’s Day, and a do-it-yourself flower bouquet can be a great gift on a small budget.

Just stop by your local dollar store and pick up a few items and you are one your way to making a great gift.
