“These guys are so talented that you’re working on more mental stuff than you are physical,” said Schroeder. “It’s about learning from their mistakes and making them better down the road.”

The UNF track and field teams set the bar high for their 2009 season after competing in the Clemson Tiger Invite Jan. 9-10. Both the men and women’s teams took second place out of eight teams in the distance medley, an event showcasing runners in 1200m, 800m, 400m and the 1600m as they raced for the best overall time. The UNF field team did not score as well.
