With the fall semester a month away, the University of North Florida released the indoor volleyball, men’s soccer and women’s soccer game schedules for the 2026 season.
The schedules, released via the North Florida Athletics Department feature multiple non-conference matches and matches in the newly-reformed ASUN Conference.
Men’s soccer schedules
The 2026 schedules for men’s soccer, women’s soccer and indoor volleyball teams each include matches against teams from multiple conferences outside of the ASUN conference, according to North Florida Athletics.
Men’s soccer coach Marlon Montanella said he is excited about the schedule and looks forward to competing against programs from different conferences, according to North Florida Athletics.
“This schedule will help prepare our program to adapt tactically to a variety of opposition styles and scenarios. We believe this type of schedule is exactly what positions our program for success within the ASUN Conference and NCAA Tournament,” Montanella said in the press release.
Exhibition matches against Eastern Florida State College and the University of Central Florida are set for Aug. 8 and Aug. 14, respectively. The Ospreys will then open its regular season at home vs. South Carolina on Aug. 20 and Mercer University on Aug. 23.
A three-game road trip follows: vs. FAU on Aug. 27, vs. USF on Sept. 1 and vs. Jacksonville in the River City Rumble on Sept. 5. The team returns home vs. Coastal Carolina on Sept. 9 before traveling for matches at FGCU on Sept. 12 and Clemson on Sept. 15.
The Ospreys will host four back-to-back home matches against West Florida on Sept. 19, Trinity College (Senior Night) on Sept. 22, Stetson on Sept. 26 and Central Arkansas on Oct. 3.
Road contests at FIU on Oct. 6 and Bellarmine on Oct. 10 precede a two-game home stand vs. College of Charleston on Oct. 13 and Queens on Oct. 17.
The Osprey will conclude their regular season on the road against Saint Louis on Oct. 20 and Lipscomb on Oct. 31
The 2026 ASUN Men’s Soccer Championship will take place from Nov. 7 to Nov. 14 at top-seeded campus sites.
Women’s soccer schedule
Women’s soccer coach Eric Faulconer said that after the women’s soccer team appeared in the ASUN Championship final last season, the team is ready to take the next step, According to North Florida Athletics.
“Our non-conference schedule is a good mix of matches against programs that play different styles, and that should prepare us well for ASUN Conference play. The new look ASUN Conference and schedule format will be challenging. Every single point will have to be earned if we want to be at the top of the table in the end,” Faulconer said in a press release.
The women’s soccer team will host its exhibition match against FAU on Aug. 5, followed by its season opener at Georgia Southern University on Aug. 12 and a home match against Saint Leo University on Aug. 18.
After a road match at FIU on Aug. 23, the Ospreys host College of Charleston on Aug. 27. Following three road games in early September, non-conference play ends at home vs. Kennesaw State on Sept. 17.
The Ospreys’ conference play will open with home matches against Bellarmine, who the Ospreys defeated in the 2025 ASUN Championship Semifinal, on Sept. 24 and Lipscomb, who the Ospreys fell to in the 2025 ASUN Championship Final, on Sept. 27.
A four-game road swing includes West Florida (Oct. 1), Queens (Oct. 4), FGCU (Oct. 8) and Stetson (Oct. 11).
UNF then returns for a home stretch vs. Jacksonville on Oct. 18, vs. Stetson on Oct. 22 and vs. FGCU on Oct. 25.
The Ospreys will conclude their regular season with a second River City Rumble Match at JU on Oct. 31.
The 2026 ASUN Women’s Soccer Championship will take place from Nov. 5 to Nov. 13 at top seeded campus sites.
Indoor volleyball schedule
The volleyball team has a 24-match season ahead of them, with 12 non-conference matches and 14 matches of ASUN Conference play, according to North Florida Athletics.
The Ospreys will host exhibition matches against Florida A&M on Aug. 15 and Flagler on Aug. 22.
Volleyball head coach Abby Gilleland, hired in January 2026, will have her official regular-season debut on August 28, 2026, when UNF opens their season against Georgia at the Classic City Clash tournament.
The Ospreys will compete against both Georgia and Furman University on Aug. 28 and George Washington University on Aug. 29.
The UNF Invitational, an annual early-season NCAA Division I women’s volleyball tournament, follows on Sept. 3-5, featuring home matches vs. FIU, Duke and Tulane.
The Ospreys will then be back on the road to compete in Appalachian State University’s Mountaineer Classic from Sept. 11 to Sept. 13. The Ospreys will play against Western Carolina University and Appalachian State on Sept. 12 and then face off against the College of William and Mary on Sept. 13.
The team stays on the road, Sept. 18-20, facing Fordham, Kennesaw State and Georgia Southern.
The Ospreys will open up conference play with their first River City Rumble match at JU on Sept. 26 before two road matches against Lipscomb on Oct. 2 and Bellarmine on Oct. 3.
With matches against Queens on Oct. 9 and West Florida on Oct. 10, UNF will then host four home volleyball matches, starting with Stetson on Oct. 16 and FGCU on Oct. 17.
Home play continues vs. West Florida on Oct. 23 and vs. Queens on Oct. 24, before the team travels to FGCU (Oct. 30) and Stetson (Nov. 1).
The Ospreys will conclude their regular season with three home matches, facing off against Bellarmine on Nov. 6, Lipscomb on Nov. 7 and JU on Nov. 13.
The 2026 ASUN Indoor Volleyball Championship will be held at Alico Arena in Fort Myers, Fla., from Nov. 19 to Nov. 22.
