The North Florida baseball team hosted a three-game series against the Lipscomb Bisons this past weekend. In the first game, Ospreys had a blowout win with 15 runs—the team’s season-high and first shutout of 2014. North Florida also took the second game 7-2, earning them a playoff berth in the Atlantic Sun Tournament. However, the potential sweep was broken with the final game loss as the Ospreys fell behind 2-5. The Ospreys will wrap up their 2014 season at Kennesaw State against the Owls who have won their last 16 games. The three-game series starts this Thursday.
