Former UNF basketball star Dallas Moore has signed a contract to play professional basketball in Italy with Victoria Libertas Pesaro, the team announced Saturday.

Moore, 23, who completed a stint in the NBA Summer League with the Denver Nuggets, will play for Victoria Libertas Pesaro, a team that competes in Italy’s top basketball league, Lega Basket Serie A.

The organization praised Moore’s basketball qualities including his leadership, speed and his signature three-point shooting. Moore is the Osprey’s all-time leading scorer and two-time ASUN Player of the Year.

The former Osprey played his final game in the summer league against the New Orleans Pelicans in Las Vegas Friday night. He finished with 16 points, his largest total in his time with the Nuggets, going eight of 15 from the field in 19 minutes.
