JSO offering $8,000 for tips regarding Town Center shooting

On Tuesday, June 5, there was a drive-by shooting that killed three young men and injured one. The shooting occurred on Town Center Parkway, near the intersection of I-295, outside of UNF’s main entrance. While the victims are not related to UNF, a student may have seen something.

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is offering a reward up to $8,000 for information regarding the identity of the suspect or suspects in this shooting.

According to a Facebook post, the JSO knows that people were around when the shooting happened.

“We are aware that multiple vehicles were at or near the intersection when the shooting took place,” said the JSO Facebook post. “We are asking anyone who was there and observed this shooting to contact the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office right away.”

The one victim that was left injured, Keyanta Bullard, was arrested June 8, for a violation of probation. He went to the state prohibition office himself after leaving the hospital. He is not eligible for bond. JSO has confirmed that Bullard is affiliated with a gang.
