UNF Women’s Soccer coach, Robin Confer, recently went to a four-day NCAA Women Coaches Academy.

Hosted by the Alliance of Women Coaches, Confer attended along with 47 other coaches from different collegiate levels. The Academy consisted of breakout sessions on leadership, diversity, Title IX and other topics.

The NCAA Women Coaches Academy was held with the Women Leaders in College Sports program and the NCAA Institute for Administrators Advancement. Confer was one of three ASUN coaches to be at the event, and the other attendees were from Stetson and North Alabama.

In her first three seasons as the head coach of the UNF Women’s Soccer Team, Confer has guided the Ospreys to three straight ASUN Conference Tournament appearances, including the program’s first home postseason contest since 2010.
