Osprey Productions has booked five local bands for the first OZ Music Festival, March 5-6. Sidereal, Weekend Atlas, Aurora, Fort Stories, and Fjord Explorer confirmed that they will be performing as supporting bands at the event. OP announced Sublime with Rome and Mac Miller earlier this month as the headliners for the two day music festival.
As the original Beach Boys played right around the corner at the Florida Theatre on Monday night, Jacksonville’s folk and indie band, Fort Stories, played a cover show of a few Beach Boys songs at Burro Bar.
For this year’s Fall Concert, Lupe Fiasco, Manchester Orchestra and Fort Stories will be performing Nov. 1 at 7:00 p.m. at the Coxwell Amphitheatre, said Osprey Productions Director John Chwalisz.
After two weeks it seems like some of the position battles that were taking place over the beginning of training camp and during the first weekend are finally starting to come into place.
