Get To Know Your: international student recruiter

After spending some time in Ghana, Italy, Ireland, England, Mexico and various parts of the United States, Alexis Branaman has decided to make her next stop at UNF.

Branaman recently became the UNF international student recruiter, a new position at the International Center on campus.

These wasps are called “killer,” but they won’t hurt you

The buzz around campus: Cicada killer wasps can be found around UNF’s campus in the summer, particularly in the Student Union. Although these large insects may look threatening, they won’t attack.

Chick-fil-A will not be served on-campus this year

Since the initiative to build a Chick-fil-A at the University of North Florida has yet to be approved, students will not be dressing up like cows on campus for the annual Celebrate Cow Appreciation Day this year.
