#1 Claire Ioannidis

Position: Point Guard

Year: Junior

This will be Ioannidis’ first year at UNF. Before coming here, Ioannidis played two seasons at Trinidad State Junior College. Ioannidis left Trinidad State as the all-time leader in assists with 202. Last season, she averaged 16 points and 4.3 assists per game.

Position: Guard

Year: Sophomore

Shepherd played in 9 games, starting in 6 last season for the Ospreys. She averaged 3 points and 1.2 assists per game. Shepherd scored a career-high 19 points against Thomas University.

#5 Hadley Kiefer

Position: Guard

Year: Freshman

Before coming to UNF, Kiefer played for Jerome High School in Dublin, Ohio. During her junior and senior years, she was selected for Second-Team All-Metro honors.

Position: Guard

Year: Junior

Brown will sit out this season to satisfy NCAA transfer rules. Before coming to UNF, Brown played two seasons at Liberty University. While at Liberty, she averaged 6.4 points per game and her team earned an NCAA tournament berth.

#11 Taru Madekivi

Position: Guard/ Forward

Year: Junior

Madekivi appeared in 16 games last season for the Ospreys. She had 13 total points in 92 minutes. Madekivi’s career-high 6 points came against the Lipscomb Bisons.


 

#12 Tesh Hanson

Position: Guard

Year: Junior

Hanson will sit out this season to satisfy the NCAA transfer rules as well. Before coming to UNF, Hanson played her freshman season at Liberty University. While at Liberty, she had a career-high 8 points against St. Joseph’s. For her sophomore year, Hanson was on the roster at Kentucky University.

#15 Karrah Johnson

Position: Forward/Center

Year: Junior

This is the first season at UNF for Johnson. Before coming to UNF, Johnson played her freshman season at Florida International where she had a season-best 7 points against Florida Gulf Coast. During her sophomore season, Johnson played 26 games with 19 starts for Santa Fe College. She averaged 6.1 points and 5.7 rebounds per game for the Saints.


#22 Katie Meckus

Position: Forward/Center

Year: Freshman

Meckus played for Bishop O’Connell High School before she was recruited to UNF. While at Bishop O’Connell, she was a member of the Second-Team All-District and was also a 2015 McDonald’s All-American Nominee.

#23 Kadesia Johnson

Position: Guard

Year: Senior

Johnson played in 28 games with 7 starts last season for the Ospreys. She averaged 3.1 points and 1.9 rebounds per game. Johnson posted career-highs with 12 points and 7 rebounds against UCF. Before coming to UNF, Johnson played for Daytona Beach Community College.


 

#24 Maiya Rumph

Position: Guard/Forward

Year: Sophomore

Rumph played in 26 games with 7 starts last season for the Ospreys. She averaged 2.1 points and 2.7 rebounds per game. She put up a career-high of 6 points twice, against Mercer and Northern Kentucky. Rumph also had a career-high 2 blocks against Thomas University and career-best 3 steals at Jacksonville last season.


#33 Amber Robinson

Position: Guard/Forward

Year: Junior

Robinson played in 27 games with 20 starts last season for the Ospreys. She averaged 4.6 points and 4 rebounds per game. Robinson tied a career-high in scoring against Wofford with 13 points.

#34 Jordan Berenbaum

Position: Guard/Forward

Year: Redshirt Freshman

Berenbaum was redshirted in her first year at UNF. Before coming to UNF, she played at St. Petersburg High School in St. Petersburg, Fla. While there, she earned First-Team All-State honors and All-District honors as a senior. Berenbaum was the two-time team MVP and her team won the 2012 district championship.
