The UNF women’s basketball team (1-4) fell to FSU (3-1) on Nov. 24 by an embarrassing score of 80-28.
The team’s previous struggles with starting games remained prevalent as the Ospreys were outscored 40-12 in the first half.
Unlike their previous game against Purdue, the Ospreys didn’t compete in the second half. FSU ran up the score and added 24 points to their already massive margin.
Shooting played a huge part in the loss. In the entire game, The Ospreys only made 25 percent of their shots as a team. Freshman Hadley Kiefer led UNF with 8 points.
Their next game is a Black Friday match-up at home against Bethune-Cookman on Nov 27. The game is part of the Thanksgiving Classic hosted by UNF.
