Men’s Track season ends, Stahl finishes last race of collegiate career

After Qualifying for the NCAA East Preliminary 1500 meter for the second consecutive year, Tyler Stahl finished with a time of 3:51 and finished twenty-second.

Stahl’s personal record in the 1500 meter was 3:43.33 at the North Florida Invitational earlier this year.

Fynn Timm finished at a time of 9:17 and finished thirty-eighth in the 3000 meter Steeplechase. Timm is the three-time ASUN Champion in the event and his PR in the Steeplechase is 8:55.98 at the 2016 Florida Relays.

As the season draws to a close, the team finished strong with a record six runners qualifying for the NCAA East Prelims. The Ospreys vie to reach the prelims again next year and advance runner(s) further onto the National Championship for the first time in Division 1 history.

The next event for a UNF track runner will be Eden Meyer competing at the NCAA Championship, June 6 through June 9 in Eugene, Oregon.
