UNF surf team ranked third in the nation at NSSA Interscholastic Championship

After being ranked the top National Scholastic Surfing East Coast collegiate surf team for four consecutive years, the UNF Surf Team and Club rode their victory wave all the way to the NSSA Interscholastic Championship, where they placed third in the nation.

The competition took place from Saturday, June 16 through Monday, June 18 in Dana Point, California and oversaw middle school, high school and collegiate competitors.

On top of the team placing as third overall, individual competitors Katie Blackwell, Hunter Rolland and Kat Neff all made it to the semifinals round.

UNF student John-John Kaidy also made second place in the male longboard category.
