Blue Raiders blank Ospreys 2-0

On a mild fall evening, The Mid Tennessee Blue Raiders found their offense late in the match to defeat the Ospreys, 2-0.
The Ospreys and Blue Raiders battled it out on Thursday’s match.
In the 69th minute, Sam Debien got the Blue Raiders on the board first on an assist by Hannah Tillett. Mid Tennessee shortly added onto their lead from another assist by Tillett, this time to Madeleine Schricker. 53 percent of the Blue Raiders shots were on goal Friday night.
On the Ospreys side of the pitch, four Ospreys registered at least one shot on goal. Redshirt-Sophomore Goalkeeper Rhiannon Conelley corralled six saves between the posts.
The Ospreys’ next match is at home on Sunday, August 26 against UNC-Asheville at 1 p.m.
