BREAKING: Ospreys trail JU at half

MACON, Ga – The UNF men’s basketball team struggled to keep Jacksonville University of the boards in the first half, resulting in a six-point defecit after 20 minutes of play. UNF trails JU 22-28 at halftime of the first-round Atlantic Sun Tournament game.

JU out rebounded the Ospreys 22-9. However, more importantly they gave up 12 offensive rebounds, resulting in 16 second-chance points for the Dolphins.

The Dolphins led for most of the first half. JU’s biggest lead came at the 2:50 mark, when freshman guard Aloys Cabell sank a pair of free throws to put the Dolphins up by 26-17.

Sophomore guard Jerron Granberry leads the way for the Ospreys with seven points, while senior foward Ayron Hardy leads the Dolphins with six.
