The Times Union Center frequently hosts traveling Broadway shows, but there are rumors about a particularly exciting year ahead for Broadway in Jacksonville.

According to the Broadway Across America website, this year will bring the likes of Wicked, Rent, Anastasia, Bandstand and Hamilton. Tickets for the 2019/2020 season can be bought now through the website. It may seem a like it’s a bit early to be thinking about show tickets for the end of this year and the beginning of next, but with the release of this schedule Broadway fans are already flocking to the virtual ticket booths.

Wicked will be coming through Jacksonville on Nov. 20 and staying through Dec. 1, Rent will be Jan. 14 through Jan. 19, Anastasia will be on April 21 through April 26, Bandstand will run from Feb. 18 through Feb. 23 and Lin Manuel Miranda’s hit show Hamilton will be from March 17 through March 29.

All traveling Broadway shows are hosted at the Times Union Center by courtesy of the Florida State College at Jacksonville Artist Series.
