Jacksonville Jazz Festival is back this Memorial Day weekend. The festival kicks off tonight at 7 p.m with a piano competition. The events will continue over the weekend until Sunday, with UNF’s very own Jazz Ensemble playing tomorrow, at 6:15 p.m.

Every Memorial Day weekend, artists and enthusiasts from around the world come together to celebrate the music and art. Although the festival has been held at different locations in the past, this year the fun will be a ten-block street party in downtown with multiple stages and artists.

There will also be a Jazz Marketplace, where different artists can showcase their wares. If you get hungry, there will be a strip of the city’s best outdoor dining options.
