The University of North Florida has been named the Best and Most Affordable 2019 LGBTQ-Friendly Online College by SR Education Group, a leading education research publisher.

“This recognition spotlights the good work that students and employees across campus are doing to help UNF be among the best choices for LGBTQ students,” said Kaitlin Legg, UNF LGBT Resource Center director. “The University community can be proud to know that they make a difference in creating an inclusive climate.”

UNF has been ranked no. 5 for the second year in a row on the Most Affordable LGBTQ-Friendly List. The schools listed offer various degree programs and are dedicated to affordability with tuition being priced under $13,000 per year.

UNF was ranked in the top 68 on the Best LGBTQ-Friendly List, with a tuition of $8,550.

“Our LGBT Resource Center ensures that inclusion is weaved into the fabric of what we do as Ospreys, that’s why students who value diversity, whether they are in person or online, seek UNF,” said Legg. “When students are free to be their best, most authentic selves, when diversity of identity, experience and opinion is welcomed and affirmed, everyone can thrive.”
