My Chemical Romance is back and we’re seriously not okay

Erik Feliciano, General Assignment Reporter

It’s time to “darken your clothes and strike a violent pose.”

My Chemical Romance have announced a reunion show on December 20. They have also revealed that they would be performing at Download Festival in March.

It’s been over 6 years since the breakup of My Chemical Romance but late last week, something no one expected happened. After a few teases on My Chemical Romance’s social media accounts, they announced that they would be returning.

My Chemical Romance is known for their hit songs, “Welcome to the Black Parade,” “Helena,” “Na Na Na (Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na),” “I’m Not Okay (I Promise),” and “Teenagers.” The band has also won 31 of the 83 awards it has been nominated for.

Tickets for the show have already sold out, and there has been no word on if this is just a one-off thing or if MCR is here to stay. But here’s to hoping that they decide to do a tour that goes through Jacksonville.
