UPDATE 1/12/17 @ 11:03 a.m. — As of 11:01 a.m., power was restored to campus and campus operations are back to normal.

At about 9:40 a.m. UNF started to lose power around campus. Places like Parking Services, Honors Hall, and the Student Union were affected by the outage.

Partial power was regained on campus at around 10:15 a.m., but other areas of campus are still in the dark. There is no estimated time full power will return to campus.

Traffic lights are also out at this time at the interections of UNF Drive and Eco Road and UNF Drive and Alumni Drive. UNFPD is directing traffic at both of these intersections for the time being.

According to JEA, UNF was not the only area affected by the outage. More than 1,900 people were without power in the Southside area this morning.
