The B&A Committee began the meeting with $10,000 in the Travel Request index after depleting it in January.
Legislation passed in January to transfer $10,000 from the Special Request index to the Travel Request index.
Three travel requests were approved.

Why: To send 10 students to the National Council on Education for the Ceramics Arts Conference in Milwaukee, WI. on March 18-22. Students can have their art critiqued by professional ceramics artists and have networking opportunities for graduate schools.

How much: $2,500
Why: To send eight students to attend the Formula One Student Automotive Engineers Collegiate Design Series at the Michigan International Speedway from May 14-17. Over 100 teams are projected to compete, but students plan to network with business professionals, also.

Who: The Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA)
How much: $529.36
Why: To send 20 students to the Georgia Public Relations Society of America Real World Conference in Atlanta, GA. on Feb. 20-22. Students will be able to interact with other university chapters, attend a job fair, and a résumé critique.
