Room for improvement at UNF-affiliated eateries

The Duval County Health Department and the Florida Department of Business & Professional Regulation inspects various establishments around town — including the restaurants UNF students frequent on a day-to-day basis.

The departments had more on their hands this year with the introduction of the Student Union’s food court, Outtakes, the Boathouse and Osprey Fountains’ convenience store and grill, Ozzie’s.

The Spinnaker obtained the reports for every restaurant that accepts OzzieBucks — on and off campus. All restaurants passed inspections, but some had up to 13 violations.
