Free event: Electronic recycling to be collected

UNF students to collect electronic recycling free of charge

The UNF chapter of the international nonprofit Students in Free Enterprise is hosting an E-Cycle recycling event for everything electronic Saturday, Feb. 20 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Sam’s Club located on Beach Boulevard.

The SIFE students have partnered with Sam’s Club and Junk Moovers, the company that will take the waste to the appropriate recycling or waste facility, to make this event possible for any member of the public free of charge.

Junk Moovers accepts computer monitors under 17 inches, disk drives, printers under 20 pounds, batteries, cell phones, cameras, CDs, modems, circuit boards, wires, mainframes, keyboards, mice, power supplies, computer peripherals and copper.
