Hailey Guerra, recently elected Student Government vice president for the 2015-2016 term, resigned from her current seat in the Senate.

According to Cody Quattlebaum, who handles public relations for the United Party, Guerra resigned to focus on her new duties as SG vice president.

Guerra was appointed to her Senate seat in Fall 2014.  Both vice presidents and senators serve terms lasting one year.
