Man handcuffed, taken to hospital after outbursts about ISIS in library

A man was put in handcuffs and taken to the hospital after multiple witnesses say he screamed about ISIS and yelled at a female student on the first floor of the UNF library this afternoon.

Police said this was a “mental health case” involving a young man in crisis who needs help.

The man was handcuffed at roughly 2:30 p.m. by UNFPD, next to the Brooks College of Health. JSO and Jacksonville Fire and Rescue were also present on the scene.

He was put on a stretcher before being taken to a local hospital.

    “UNF STUDENT” is a complete dumbass, these fabricated and staged events our government creates has no reflection at the actually decreasing crime rate. Hope getting fucked in the ass with loan debt was worth your mediocre, at best, education. The Orlando shooting was a hoax

    WOW, what a great story. Thank you for giving us readers all pertinent information. He looked like a white guy from the video and he was probably angry after he walked by Building 9 and saw a bunch of ISIS goat lovers!!!

    Orlando shooter was just another “mental health case” as well. Call it for what it is. I’d rather have the police take these things a little more seriously, especially with the wave of terror we’ve seen sweep western nations. It’s sad that something like this doesn’t surprise anyone.
