Florida Governor Rick Scott is scheduled to announce a “major action plan” to keep Florida students safe following the shooting in Parkland, Fla. that left 17 dead Feb. 14.

These major changes will reportedly include a plan to keep guns away from individuals struggling with mental illnesses and enhanced safety measures for schools.

Following the tragedy last week, Scott has been involved with law enforcement, school administrators, and mental health experts to devise this plan. The press conference will be streamed LIVE here.
